I would have just asked permission to move them and put them back afterwards. Never let bins spoil a good photo! Of course there is a council bin that could be a problem but you could easily clone that out, you seem more than capable of that.

An excellent image by the way. We have a Queensferry (Near Chester, Cheshire), which doesn't look like this at all!
