Well this is a first for me....a plant Tongue Grin A southern marsh orchid. I wanted to mush up the FG and BG so what easier way than to use the 500mm f4 Smile A big thank you to Pete for the HC and for the many User Awards, comments and votes on the female banded demoiselle. All very much appreciated as always.

Its a good job that the goldcrest that was perched on top flew off just before I pressed the shutter, it would have spoiled the shot Grin

I tried with my macro lens to start with but just couldn't get the effect I was after. So I ended up shooting with the 500mm from about 25 feet away. Anyone who saw me would have thought I was a nutcase. 500mm lens, tripod,wimberley head,prostrate, full camo gear. But at least it didn't see me Tongue

Steve I just had to stop by after seeing you on Tony's image..(I am always late!)
