Well this is a first for me....a plant 
A southern marsh orchid. I wanted to mush up the FG and BG so what easier way than to use the 500mm f4

I tried with my macro lens to start with but just couldn't get the effect I was after. So I ended up shooting with the 500mm from about 25 feet away. Anyone who saw me would have thought I was a nutcase. 500mm lens, tripod,wimberley head,prostrate, full camo gear. But at least it didn't see me
