Looking for images to convert to monochrome for our club monochrome competition and came across this one. See what you think ,. Thanks for comments on my last few uploads from Skye and Scotland . More to follow gradually.Best viewed LARGE for extra detail. Be gentle it is monochrome so will probably bomb....Phil

A great shot, Phil. Your composition seems excellent to me, with great detail and with the church so well placed to give the reflection. The monochrome treatment seems so appropriate too. Like this very much.

There is no reason why it should bomb it,s a subject suitable to mono and it has plenty of interest in it.

It's a nice little area of Sowerby Bridge is this, and this is a very nicely captured viewpoint of it, Phil. The subject suits the mono treatment and it has been very well handled here - I'd certainly be proud of it. Cracking reflections in the canal, too.
