Another from the Black Country Living Museum, this is the chainmaker at work.
The slightly slow shutter speed, coupled with the amount of movement before the blow that caused the spark, has done something a little odd (and very painful-looking) to the smiths arm, but I thought that the overall shot was worth it!

Good capture,
think I may have cropped quite a bit of the srrounding image away though to add some extra impact
Also, I might have cloned a piece from his arm to replace the flare of the fire light. Good exposure and authentic colour here though, you caught the key moment of concentration which is essential.
In spite of the arm, This is worth a GEA, I short listed, and gave it much thought. perfection is not the B all & end all. The picture to me has WOW!
