This wasn't a great shot, so using DPP i changed it to mono, took out as much highlight as i could, adjusted the contrast slightly, sharpened and added a red filter effect, then saved.

If anyone can give me any tips how to get it better, they would be appreciated.

Hi Terry,

I quite like this shot. Personally, the only thing I would have changed would be it's sharpness but I understand you have tried to sharpen it already. It's just a little blurry. However, in some ways it adds to the photo.
