I uploaded one in 2007 before I had PS and so this one I have been able to put through levels and contrast and repair some of the white spots. Other than that it is just as I saw it.
Thought it might be worth sharing here too.

wonderful image Helen one of your very best I am certain, well done
Love it. Has a very abstract feel to it. The rail looks like it crosses from outside against the wall to the inside of the steps at this point, probably due to you interesting angle.
A glorious photograph that has mellowed with acquaintance.

How amazing to read so many comments- so glad I uploaded it, as its obviously been a good one for the gallery. Many thanks everyone - just goes to show what can be done with a supermarket compact camera !!
Definitely worth sharing, Helen. Love all those lines and curves and the viewpoint. One for the favourites, this!

Excellent light and shapes here Helen, a first-class result to be very proud of... Dave
Most certainly worth an airing in the PG, Helen. In fact, it is incredibly beautiful with all of those shapes, and amazing quality for the camera you used.
Joline- that's two weeks running, and VERY special indeed - I am rather overwhelmed to say the least - many thanks indeed
Helen...this is, in my opinion, one of your best shots...Love it...! could look at it for ages... I Love the colour on the hand rail...like the blue on the steps...then it go's darker as you go down...the lighting is Great...the view point/perspective is simply brilliant...a very strong image...very well taken...Excelento...!!!![]()
