Another of this rare bear as he made his way along the river. Going through the wet vegetation has left some leaves on him. His muzzle is dirty from grubbing about in the earth just out of sight behind a tree.
Thanks for looking - this is one of the highlights of my trips to see wildlife. At this point I still had not seen a 'proper' Black bear.

I've never seen a spirit bear, this is a great image. filling the frame too! You must have been fairly close? We're hoping to see them in September 13, if we're lucky!
