A shop window in Trinidad, Cuba. It was only when I started to process this that I saw the graffiti in the top right - "te estoy Mirando" which I looked up and it could be a Mexican song or band (my Spanish translator isn't here at the moment). Comments and criticisms are welcome.
We're off to East Yorkshire for a few days tomorrow - in lieu of our Scottish trip. I hope you all have a great week and weekend.
Thank you for looking and for your continuing support. Smile
Ann
My Spanish translator is back and translates this as "I'm looking at you, or I'm watching you"..... and he says they're not bananas, but plantain, which you have to cook before eating. Smile

Well seen and taken Ann. I don't think I'd be in too much of a rush to eat one of those bananas though! Smile

I put te estoy Mirando through Google translate and it came up with I'm Watching.

An impressive colourful composition but I couldn't fancy those bananas.

Superbly detailed image Ann - I think this is one that would have benefited from a little more colour for the fruit and veg to make more impact.

A beautiful "found" still life. Your slight desaturation gives it more interest somehow than if it had been left with more color.

A very nice foreword, supported by this somewhat refreshing still life composition, which in itself lends it self to so many possible narratives. Beautifully composed, and naturally framed, and an image which certainly appeals.

Have a great trip, take care Nathan

An image which tells a story of somebody trying to make a living.
There's a certain beauty amidst the chaos.
Is the message being sent to passers by who might steal the produce?
