Guess what - another Spotted Flycatcher (Muscicapa striata), this time with a fancy insect in its beak - would be grateful for any IDs.
Fledglings still in nest and becoming highly demanding - parents working very hard.
Many thanks for your C&Cs on my yesterday's upload - really appreciated as always ![]()

Beautifuly sharp image of both the bird and the bug, wonderful capture
A superb capture Sylvia and the bug is nearly ( but not quite ![]()
) as good as the bird.
Thanks once again for such a fantastic day of top class birding Sylvia. It will be a long time I imagine before we better that.
Delighted to hear the nippers are still safe and well.
Ron
A top quality shot, beautifully sharp and superb detail.
Steve.
Quote: The colour of that insect really adds to this superbly detailed Flycatcher image - immaculate detail around the head Sylvia.
Brian.
