Teignmouth last Wednesday afternoon and some pleasant weather brought many people out to enjoy the beach. The little dredger was busy going back and forth and doing whatever little dredgers do. The sand spit seemed to focus the human activity while the birds stayed a little further out on the sandbank.

The shape of the sand is very appealing and the figures couldn't be in a better position. I really do love this image David and i like the narrative.

The people included in the photo give it a sense of scale that I would otherwise have gotten wrong (not living anywhere near a beach).
Love the view.

A nice open composition. I like the way the birds have laid claim to the little island.

Love the way the sand spit shapes the incoming waves. A glorious sky, too.
