Spent all day yesterday faffing around with my brand new computer & screen..still not 100% happy as I have not had the equipment to callibrate the screen yet,so this is a bit of a test to see how you see this image ![]()
Just a BT from the garden...he's been at the Pussy Willow for those little black bugs...& left the evidence on his forehead !

Thankyou for taking the time to look..your opinions would be gratefully received with regard to colour/contrast/brightness etc...the usual suspects ![]()

A stunning capture Janet,great detail.
Have a great week-end.

Thankyou all.
Now ,now you two !! ![]()
To make a decision either way Cheryl,I think I would have to view it on the full screen again.I suppose a small crop from the top puts him better in the thirds with the pollen covered beak at the centre of attention so to speak.
No-one has told me it's too light/dark,so I assume it looks o.k. on here on everyone's monitor?

Looks cracking to me Janet... maybe a tad off the top... the branch is fab

It looks fine to me Janet with respect to lightness. I have a Sony monitor however which I always think must be a bit bright as I'm told by some that some of my shots look a little dark. I do tend to think it's their monitors that are dark though.

Quote: desperate for a calibration
I could come and do it for you Janet, probably take a couple of days to get there mind you with stopping off for a couple of pics on the way, then there's another day doing the calibration and you showing me about the place, a spot of dinner and such like...then there's the return journey again, about the same time frame, what do you think? ![]()
Sorry I missed this Janet.. Like it a lot I'm in two minds about the crop suggested by Cheryl, I think Alans right about the monitor, the image does look a little flat on here (just been calibrated thanks to EPZ Christmas prezzie) .
Oh and a belated Happy Birthday !
Comp and color/light looks great from here Janet but I only have a laptop, great shot with lovely detail,
Geoff.
