The title is a result of the lack of a descent sunrise on the Saturday morning on the Spurn Point meet and therefore nobody posting a shot of first light (yet). Anyway, there was no way on God's green Earth that I was dragging my carcass out of bed at 4am and not post something from that ungodly hour.
It was good to meet new people and put actual flesh to usernames I see in the forums all the time.
This is the wife's favourite and seeing as it's our wedding anniversary today I've decided to post it.
As always, comments and critique welcome.
Thanks.

Happy anniversary mate, good meeting you yesterday ... pity you couldn't stay for the late night pub spectacle, one of the local women took exception to a 'visiting woman' stroking her husband. They'd all been in the pub from before we arrived at 5.15pm and they were just kicking off at about 9.30pm ... should've sold tickets ![]()

Very atmospheric shot, Alex, serene and peaceful - unlike the pub by the sound of it. This is definitely one of the shots that I missed, so fair play to you. Congrats to you both. Great work.
Steve
Thanks John, Alley, John and Steve.
It was good to meet you as well Fran although that may change pending your discussion with Janet.

You must have misheard me, but you're not far off. It's Niamh, and yes she did. Apparently her first words on Saturday morning were "When's daddy coming home?". Bless her.
Looks familiar
Good to meet up, though I don't remember seeing a Dalek on the beach!
Ant.
