The title is a result of the lack of a descent sunrise on the Saturday morning on the Spurn Point meet and therefore nobody posting a shot of first light (yet). Anyway, there was no way on God's green Earth that I was dragging my carcass out of bed at 4am and not post something from that ungodly hour.

It was good to meet new people and put actual flesh to usernames I see in the forums all the time.

This is the wife's favourite and seeing as it's our wedding anniversary today I've decided to post it.

As always, comments and critique welcome.

Thanks.

Happy anniversary mate, good meeting you yesterday ... pity you couldn't stay for the late night pub spectacle, one of the local women took exception to a 'visiting woman' stroking her husband. They'd all been in the pub from before we arrived at 5.15pm and they were just kicking off at about 9.30pm ... should've sold tickets Wink

Thanks Paul.

How was the soup by the way? Wink

Shame I missed the local sporting event. Who won in the end? The home team, or the visitors?

Cheers Bill. I still can't believe you get up at 1:30 in the morning to come up here on these meets and then travel all the way back again in the evening.

Nice shot superb light, Happy Anniversary

Very atmospheric shot, Alex, serene and peaceful - unlike the pub by the sound of it. This is definitely one of the shots that I missed, so fair play to you. Congrats to you both. Great work.

Well, when it comes to images, maybe, we can discuss her taste in husbands at a later date, Janet! Wink

Was really good to meet you, Alex, hope Eve hadn't missed you too much, and that you had a super Anniversary Smile

Thanks John, Alley, John and Steve.

It was good to meet you as well Fran although that may change pending your discussion with Janet.

You must have misheard me, but you're not far off. It's Niamh, and yes she did. Apparently her first words on Saturday morning were "When's daddy coming home?". Bless her.

It must be my age, Alex, missed the "N" Smile

Either that or we were all too busy giggling at Glynn and it drowned it out! Wink
