Another from the testing session on Wednesday. This is Adrian Sutil bringing the Spyker out of the Luffield complex.
I know they felt they had to slow the cars but personally I think that this section of the track is just far too fiddly and, compared to the old Woodcote turn, quite dull. Still, it slows them down enough to allow my poor panning technique a chance. ![]()
Thanks for looking, all honest comment welcome.

Cheers Conrad. Had to be Dutch didn't it, in that colour. ![]()
Jordan, Arrows, Minardi, Midland, Spyker, the list grows. ![]()
Love the light cast over this one. I can only commend your panning skills, my first time there this week (in a photography capacity anyway) and I found it very hard to get the sharp stuff.
Simon
Simon, panning with an F1 car is by far the most difficult thing I think I have done photographically. I've been to a number of GPs and testing sessions, taken '000s of shots and still consider one keeper out of every 50 shots a good ratio. ![]()
Thanks for the comment.
I think I like to come with you the next time and do the same shot.. LOVE it.
Carsten
Well, my honest opinion is this is a great pic!
Looking at the shots I took today at the NW Motor Show, I think you are doing very well to get a 1:50 hit rate. Mine was much, much, MUCH worse!!
Great to meet up with you and Mrs Mad! Look forward to the next time!
Cheers, goggz
Cheers Pete, good to meet up with you again too.
