Squirrels seen on the beach today. We drove to Oceanside today. Was foggy in the morning but sunny in the afternoon. There little squirrels were sunning themselves.

Two excellent captures. The details and texture of their coats is 1st class. Think it has to be V2, with that alert & perky look which gets my vote though only by the smallest margine as both are lovely.

Ann

Can't decide, I love the angle on the face in V2. It certainly deserves its own day in the limelight.

Two wonderful captures Sandy, super DOF in No.1. Of the two I like No.2 best because of the expression on the squirrels` face and the super detail that can be seen in the coat.Like the comp. of No.2 as well.
Pete.

Great captures , Sandy. I love the details and DOF. Well done

Daniel

If you could replace the squirrel in V1 with the squirrel in V2, I reckon you'd have a certain winner. How good are you at Photoshopping, Sandy?

Two wonderful images, great captures Smile

I do like the stance of the squirrel in V2 - watchful, on the alert, looks about to sprint up the nearest tree. So natural, and typical.
