Hi Kathryn,
There's something awry with the colour in this.
I've taken it into Lightroom and applied 'auto' W/B followed by a slight increase in exposure and it seems to have done the trick.
Is your W/B set to something it didn't ought to be?
Generally speaking 'auto' will get it right almost every time and there's always a software option for those very rare occasions when it does get tripped up.
I have the W/B set to 'auto' all the time and don't have any issues; in fact, very often a check in Lightroom makes no discernible difference.
Also, if you're changing the settings for each shot, or groups of shots, the time will come when you'll forget to re-set it and you'll come unstuck. And you will forget!
I think that I could have reduced the saturation in the background (reducing just the yellow channel works well) but I didn't! Neither did I remove the twig that you referred to.
Hope this helps.
Bren.

Hiya Bren.
Thankyou for the mod and the advice, i do sometimes change things and have forgotten to re-set in the past so will leave it on auto to save any mis-haps!
Kathryn
