It's a good capture Phil but I wouldn't have cropped ite quite as tight.
I like the tight crop..so I guess everyone has a different view poitn.love the eye one this one.
If a squirrel could think,..contemplate, she would look like this while touching fingers together. Like Gerry says, a little more room in front of the nose would be OK, but as Gareth suggests, close cropping may not be very tough to accept. TG
A somewhat brilliant close-up-photograph, great colours, crisp detail, and gorgeous light, which all go together to enhance the beauty of this rather handsome looking Squirrel so very well. A really great photograph.
Tbh i didn't crop this much,i just got rid of clutter to the right and top (empty crisp packet and litter) it was only about 15 ft away from me.
I would have shot this one completely different........with a gun. These grey squirrels have passed on a ox to our reds in Northumberland,hence they are dying off quickly.
Having said that this is a super image and portrays the animal very well.
