I'm no expert (in fac tthe opposite) in BW, or technical or chemically things like quadtone and all that, so apart from to say that it has a loomimg atmospheric feel to it, i'll just comment on the subject matter as i see it. You title it "st Clement's church" but I only see a bench. Looking harder, I see a few gravestones behind. So I just think compositionally if you're looking to get the feel of a bench in an old churchyard and all the emotions and atmosphere that might conjure up, you need to make the setting more obvious - more churchyard than bench..

Hope that's at least some help
