Number 5 in the series of sculptures of the Apostles, from the nave of the Basilica of St John Lateran is St John himself, completed in 1711 by Camillo Rusconi.
Rusconi provided 4 of the 12 sculptures for the Basillica, St Andrew, St John, St Matthew and St James (the Greater) he also completed the tomb of Pope Gregory XIII for St. Peter's Basillica.
