A previously unprocessed shot, but I've been experimenting with blending techniques so I thought I'd whack this one up.
Taken on our first night in Cornwall last year ... a fine week of weather it was too ![]()
Catch up in a bit ... chief cook, bottle washer and taxi driver this evening ![]()

EDIT: Just stuck up a variant showing the central exposure [prior to blending] as a comparison.

It's a fabulous Cove isn't it Lillian. We were blessed with some fine conditions that particular evening in the company of Mr Bill [BillyGoatGruff] Barraclough. His lovely wife was watching tv back at out cottage with Beth - my step daughter.
A HUGE thanks too for your UA, that really does mean a lot ... cheers ![]()

Another badge for you...don't let it go to your head, now ![]()
Bags of impact in this one Paul. Excellent processing.

v1 for me plse, as the sun is not so blown out.
Love the light falling on the stones and the use of slow shutter speeds, comp is good too.

oh by the way the little water mark detracts from the image as the eye gets drawn to it, sorry just my view, the image is wonderful and really should not be spoilt by the thing at the bottom.
Ian
No problem Ian, but the 'watermark' works on a couple of levels. Having had a few images stolen of late, it's slightly more of a deterrent to the would-be thief than my usual branding and also if you have a smart phone with the correct app it allows you to scan it and be taken ... well, I'll let you see where it goes ![]()
Sorry if it bothers you but it's there for my greater good ... honest!!! ![]()

Not a convert per sé mate but I'm all for anything that can help me improve my shots.
As for the transitions I can't say I'm at all unhappy with this one due to the contrast at the time, maybe on more subtle lighting conditions that will then come to the fore ... still playing though ![]()
