Here's the chancel of the tiny 11th century St Lawrence Church in North Hinksey, Oxford. Our daughter is getting married here in April next year - this was the first time we had seen the church and I had little time for photography. The whole building has ancient historical simplicity - it will be a great occasion.

Simplicity is what makes this so beautiful. None of the distracting 'grandeur'. You must be so looking forward to April, Mike.

This looks like many, many prayers have been prayed in this place. What a beautiful place to start a new life.
