This is a great photo , I live near the lighthouse in this picture and know this shot is not possible without ps manipulation , which does not detract at all from your work if anything I admire it more because this is done so well . I added photo called calm before the storm recently of the same lighthouse ( not in the same league as yours ) but enjoyed the scene as you probably did . Once again great shot , best image I've seen of this light house

Hello Kel55.

Thank you for your comment and I am pleased you like the image.

The only thing I have done to this image is to covert to B/W and made a few different layers at different levels of dark and light and blended them to make the image more moody, the picture its self is straight from the camera.

I,m having a go at black and white photography at the moment for club competions and I have to say I,m quite enjoying it which is a bit of a surprise as I have always been in to colour, with me being mostly a wildlife photographer.
