Continuing with the sculptures of the Apostles from the nave of the Basilica of St John Lateran (Rome). Number 4 in the series is St Paul, completed in 1718 by the French sculptor Pierre-…tienne Monnot. Monnot was also commissioned to create the Tomb of Pope Innocent XI for St. Peter's Basilica.
