One of the most difficult things for me is to find somewhere in Assynt which is a good spot for sunrise. When we were there at Easter I was up early several times scouting around to try to find a good location. So far, all my ideas haven't been brilliant - but this was one of the places I thought might work. I guess if I'd have hung around a bit longer the light might have been better, but I think the sun had risen about 30 minutes before this was taken. Anyway - I love Stac Pollaidh and her neighbours, so here is the image for better or worse! I only noticed the white spot almost dead centre after I'd uploaded this - when I zoom in on the original I find it's a large bird; maybe a buzzard... or a gull perhaps!
Thanks for looking and for any comments and/or criticisms.
Thank you to Moira (mrswoolybill), John (lifesnapper) and Nathan (NDODS) for their UAs for Dawn Breaker!
