On Saturday I went to Forty Hall by chance, got home yesterday to find council had left me a booklet about the place. Being a sucker for adverts I had to go back. Did lots but felt this one followed yesterdays effort. Thanks for all c's & v's, Si.

Like the composition, Simon. Was there a few weeks back. Myddleton House just up the road from it is well worth a visit too, more for the gardens though.

Selected detail plus foliage. I like the simplicity of this.
I don't know the place at all, must go and consult Google.

Nothing spectacular, mainly about weird stuff like Natural History & Culture, but I did find a lamp-post elegantly poised between two buildings & a window with broken paynes, so not a complete waste of time! Plus found a sinister looking subway under the A10 on the walk home. Thanks for V&C Moira, regards, Si.

Nicely balanced image -- with the section of tree balancing the chimneys. Great gritty detail in this -- nice conversion to mono.
