Due to problems associated with my mobility, as a result of my acquired brain injury, most of my images are taken via the 'Safe' route. However during a recent drip out, nature was calling, after getting out of the car in a quiet leafy lane, I managed to toddle down to a secluded spot in order to allow nature takes its cause. It was at the same time that I stumbled upon this rather tranquil, but rather muddy and murky looking river. Never wanting to miss an opportunity for a photograph, I raced back the 20 or so 'feet' back to the car, grabbed my camera, and the rest is history. I opted to use the monochrome setting just because of the lack lustre and muted colours of the gentle winding river, and the dried out natural debris.
