The sunset was a bit rubbish, several photographers were scattered around different areas, I don't think anyone was happy with the way the sky was going, but I had other intentions - star trails. (see tonight's blog post.) This is a single shot tone mapped in Photomatix. I used a Lee hard ND grad.

Nothing wrong with that sky as presented. Good, rich color throughout with plenty of interest. Crunchy details and textures.
A very complimentory image of the Peak District. It was a good night that night to be in the area.
