There was a bit of mist about first thing this morning and I thought I would take a chance and try and catch it before it melted away.Five minutes after I took these shots the mist had gone

Well worth the early start to the day, and it seems just in time to catch these atmospheric shots, Michael: like them all, the combination of sunshine and mist affording excellent captures: I particularly like V 1 and 2 and can't decide between them.
Ronnie.

Three lovely atmospheric shots. I prefer v1 which has the misty valley contrasting with the more saturated foreground and sky.

a great atmosphere indeed, the landscape strangely resembles the one round here. Maybe that's why we got so many immigrants from Yorkshire

Lovely image of temperature inversion, it's an effect that I've seen often (we live above a valley) but never got a decent picture.
