A shot that just does not relate how cold it was with gusts of 60mph and a windchill of -15c
Cleared the cobwebs tho
Wish this was mine .
I might lose a little off the base, the half circle of fallen ferns is a little large in the foreground.
Love the color, Fantastic Capture!!
Like your comp and the light in this Chris, well worth braving the cold winds
My that was cold....like the light on the hills
Superb light and an outstanding tree. Beautiful!
Thanks very much to Nathan & Tel for your UA's... glad I put this up for viewing
Can feel it from here Chris
Can still feel it too .....a memory of intense cold that was highly unpleasant .
Drama in the hills !! Excellent Chris.
Beautiful low light
Excellent image, Chris. Wonderful light captured and a fine comp, as usuaul.
Super capture and so beautiful.
Looks like you took this just a little way off the ski road? I've never managed to find the right FG for it so well done you and getting that lovely sunrise light. It's great the way the view stretches away from you at this site and you have communicated that really well. I was probably below you at Loch Morlich out of the wind
Gorgeous light and faultless clarity Chris. First class work.
Well worth the cold and runny nose!
Spot on Al with the location...probably passed you on the way 'up there'
Not so much runny nose Ryan ...more like frost bite on the ears
