The UK's smallest owl, I photographed this Little Owl whilst it was sitting at the entrance to a hole in an old decaying willow tree in Gloucestershire.

Nice one again Barrie, one of those conundrum shots though i think as i may have been tempted to use a little -EC to take some of the brightness off the surrounding stump which obviously would have also darkened the Owl.

Either way, lowvely sharpness and detail on the subject itself.
