Standing stones (there are two, can you spot them? It's hard at this size of image!) at Ballintomb Farm just outside Grantown on Spey. A Pictish symbol stone found at the farm has been moved to a different site: http://canmore.rcahms.gov.uk/en/site/139359/details/finlarig
These stones are unmarked, I believe. Cairngorms in the background. I stood about in frosty -7C for over an hour waiting for the light to hit the stones. Took over an hour before I could feel my toes again too! This is 4 portrait shots stitched together in elements for a 45MP (approx) image then some curves and selective sharpening applied. Works much better when viewed at a larger size!

Thank you very much. I'm trying to work out alternative views of the same scene with some leading lines to try and make it more dynamic.

Your wait in the frosty morning was worth it to catch the stones in this light. They stand out well, picked out by the cold and angled light.
