One of the main paths going through Standish woods near Stonehouse in Gloucestershire. This shot was taken two years ago when I walked from Edge and across Haresfield Beacon to view the spectacular display of bluebells that were there at the time.

Did you put the camera on a tripod, set the timer and walk off down the footpath, EdWink?
The red coat of the walker is perfect, love the format and composition too.

In Standish woods Ade?, I've never seen them there. I know they can be found in the woodland near to the garage at Mitcheldean in the Forest of Dean and also close to the Biblins campsite at Symonds Yat, I didn't think they were present anywhere else in Gloucestershire.

One of your best "local landscapes", Ed, beautifully composed with the view down that verdant tunnel and with the red jacketed walker at precisely the optimum position.
A shot I'd have been so pleased with were it my own.
Ronnie.

Hi Ed, great shot, but I feel the walker detracts from the image. I removed the man in the shot in Photoshop, so I hope you like it.

I can't believe that Puertouk thought it a good idea to do a mod removing the walker Ed, as most comments show he is a gift to any photographer in such a scene as you have captured and shown so well here!
