Excellent capture! I have had moderate luck with my fireworks and agree it is not very easy.If you don't mind ,what were the settings you used.Also is this one frame exposure or multipules? Keith

Thankyou all for your comments. Keith, it is a single exposure of 6 secs at f10. I was very lucky as I took 20 or so and only 2 are usable.

Chris this is so effective - and different too in the way you've caught the trails .. makes them look like neon chrysanthemums or something Grin beautifully done .. well worth the session Grin

a very great shot of firework...congrad chris u've done a great job...shooting firework pics is not easy at all...we do not have much opportunities to practise in nz here...all i can say is a good firework shot is like a once in a blue moon...and the photographer got to be technically professional...timing and exposure gotta be very accurate...very well done and keep up! Smile
