hi, back again after a little while, another of the same sort of shot though Grin At my grans again this weekend and her bird shot setup has changed again Grin I took quite a lot of shots this morning and this is one of them. My gran let me borrow her laptop to fix my pictures at my own house, this is the first time ive done this on my own without my gran helping so I hope its ok Smile well I hope you like and thanks for all the votes on my previous shots

You've caught this well in he frame Steven , a fine pose with good eye contact and a lot of fine detail and the background well handled. Seems a little bit dark to me , maybe needs some adjustment to the brightness and contrast or perhaps a tweak of the levels, not much though. Well doneGrin.

nice capture, call me picky but I'd say that the beak and eyes were just out of focus and the breast was the focal point.

We all love the 2.8 effect but I do wonder sometimes if f4 is often more appropriate.

Back again Steven , should have said you have done very well shooting using manual focus instead of automatic, don't worry about it not being completely in focus. This was one of the first ones and I had a look at the later ones you took today. many of these are much better focussed all over , check them out and upload one of them. WEll done using the Processing software by yourself as well.
