I am sorry for my boring snow and winterpictures, but that is all we have here for the moment. But I will give a short break with the startrails capture on one of the cold and starfilled nights at the cabin. I just had to take some pictures of the stars

Beautiful, this is something I keep meaning to try but even 8 minutes of clear sky is hard to come by here at present!

Excellent image. The star trails really shows the different colours of the stars, especially in Orion, one of the most recognisable constellations in the northern sky.

Also highlights how much the Earth spins in 8 minutes!

Great shot, love it!

There is nothing boring about your snow pictures Peter- this is something that we very very rarely see and ( to me anyway ) they are a delight.
