Afternoon all. Another shot from the Eagle workshop I attended. The Golden Eagle enjoying his starters - mountain hare. This photo was not cropped - simply that I zoomed in a bit too far as I wanted to get the bird tearing at the flesh. I know - a bit of a gory scene, but that is how they eat. Thanks for C&Cs on yesterday's upload.

The beak and talons are as knife & fork to the eagle, many people are less adept with cuylery than this bird with what he has.

My first impression of this is its sheer quality Moira, the composition and detail are both wonderful, as to the subject, that's nature for you, the survival of the fittest I'm afraid!
