Brilliant time in Tunisia, over shadowed by the loss of my camera and bag en-route home. So I am camera less until it either turns up or until the insurance gets sorted. Sadly until such a time I will be without uploads for a while.

This set taken on my wife's Coolpix. Stopped in the middle of the Chott El Jerid a massive salt lake on the edge of the Sahara, South West Tunisia. The guide told us the statues are mostly made of salt.

Thank you for looking

John

Nice images, John, although very difficult to get a sense of scale, esp re v1 (that's not a criticism, merely an observation). Most unusual. Hope the found bag turns out to be yours, and all is in order.

Regards.

This is a great image. I'll read on to see whether your camera has been found. What a disaster - I do hope it turns/has turned up by now!
