Dave - I love Iceland, this was my second time. Blue Lagoon is fascinating too but maybe a little over photographed so difficult to get a new perspective. .

A good picture of the steam, can you recall where this is as I don't recall seeing a picture like this?

I can, this was on route 48 which eventually goes past the lake Kleifarvatn on the south west peninsula. If you find the boiling muds pools on that road, (on your left heading North before the lake) then walk right to the top of that hill....da da... and there you are... views are gorgeous.
