This is Murphy, after the snow melted (in the drizzling rain!) and that is his steamy breath too from the cold

NOW! for the drama...I was in the cage with Murphy and also again later with the female Cheetah
V 2 shows me inside

Look at the exif to see how close!Smile
It was the most spectacular experience the day began in snow and ended with rain, camera coped well all day
In the snow scenes tomorrow.

I hope that you get some pleasure from my experience

Lillian

Sorry Lillian but I dont think you were up to your usual top quality with V1. The POV has distorted the Cheetah's front legs so that they look more like the length of those of a Daschund, which is a great shame as long elegant legs are one of the Cheetah's great attractions. Also your POV and the animals pose has caused its rear quarters to appear to rise up and be out of proportion.
I do appreciate that, as you say, that you were in the cage and did not have freedom of movement and this may well have caused you problems but the Cheetah is a beautiful, elegant and graceful animal and really ought to be shown as such.
You, IMO, have done much better work.
Regards
Ron

Thank You Ron, I was on the ground, and the Cheetah was crouched right down also
beside me watching the person there with me, ready to take a leap ( for a morsel ..not me)
so no long legs to be seen, but in other shots you will see themWink
Thank You everyone for your comments
was an extremely exciting day

The criticism of the pose seems rather harsh considering the beast is down on his front legs as we can see from the bend in the one to the left, the rear is raised or looks it because of the lowered front legs stance. It looks ready to pounce and not the sort of pussy cat I like to be close to.
Good on you going in there in the first place Lillian.
