This photo was taken in The Ward Pumping Station in Buffalo, NY. These pumps date back to 1915. I tried to capture and then process the photo as if it were back in that era. This is a highly detailed photo with great lighting and shadows.

Excellent image. What I really like is the little green door on the left, and the starbursts on the orange lights. Very evocative of a bygone age.

Everything in this image screams quality.
HDR was made for this type of subject.

Thanks for all the good comments. I really appreciate it. Makes me know that doing this is worth while. I'm doing a Steampunk event on Saturday and this type of photo is always a hit with that crowd.
