Mercedes Benz museum, Stuttgart, Germany. One of the lighted staircase of the huge eight story building. Rendered in an abstract form. I welcome the community's valued feed back on this. Thanks for your time!

A simple and yet very effective abstract style image, Apurva. However, I didn't think it was simple when I first saw it because I felt it was like an optical illusion, I just couldn't figure out your point-of-view, until eventually my eyes made sense of it. I think the illusion's strength lies in the lights within the step fronts and the way they trick the eye, with the reflection of that light on the shiny black surface of the steps. There will be some people who "see" it straightaway, but not me. Very clever, I like it a lot.
My only little niggle is the fact that the symmetry is out, and I wonder if there is someone more clever than me who can put it right. I did have a go, but failed. There is a very slight tilt to the top of some of the steps, but not all. Then there is more space on the left than there is on the right, which a simple crop to the left doesn't correct without the top step shifting out of centre. Not an easy one to photograph without standing dead centre and using the camera's grid lines.
Pamela.

Another beautiful abstract. Vibrant, and just the right amount of visual cues to confuse the viewer, as a good abstract should.
The perspective distortion can be corrected as in the mod, however, may not be necessary in an abstract to have symmetry, - depends on personal taste I think.
Regards
Willie
