Sorry if all I've done of late is the quick click and flyby, been busy. Thanks everyone for comments and input on the recent images.

The colour has the immediate impact but the mono offers more satisfaction over time. Good shooting!

V1 is a very unconventional take on the standard 'still life' comp - the big shadow in the middle, the high placement of the subject. V2 brings out the textures of different materials and harmonises them. Two very strong pictures, and an interesting combination.

Great stuff!!
v1 is an excellent composition with both of the red crosses.
v2 is really gritty and down to earth.
