Prefer the previous pose and the treatment is a bit OTT for my taste as it's spoilt his handsome face & left a definite sharpening line where land & sea meet. Love that sky though.
Keep at it, practice makes perfect they say.

Im sure 10-20 shoes will be in vogue one day , so great angle!

gotta keep those %s right DI , Its subtle stuff with jeans and sky.

You can mask the hard stuff.

well i just love the extreme change. It is a push the boundary thing, and it works a treat. imo

Oh, and how do you do it?

I like the 1st image better than the original, interesting composition and processing. I like it.

Paul

I prefer the tweeked one because it takes it away from the normal, angle choice moves it from a holiday shot to a photographers one..treatment sends it more towards the graphic/illustrator side..adds life ..as a normal straight shot it could be bypassed..like it a lot...t o p a z ?

Stunning image. Great perspective and angle. And what really make this picture work is processing. Washed down colour looks nice. The only thing I'm not sure about is amount of high pass filter applied to model's face. The rest of image looks just amazing with this tweaked settings.
