not quite sure I quite got the plot, mixed a Dave Hill tutorial with luciss and came up with this

Prefer the previous pose and the treatment is a bit OTT for my taste as it's spoilt his handsome face & left a definite sharpening line where land & sea meet. Love that sky though.
Keep at it, practice makes perfect they say.

well i just love the extreme change. It is a push the boundary thing, and it works a treat. imo

I prefer the tweeked one because it takes it away from the normal,angle choice moves it from a holiday shot to a photographers one..treatment sends it more towards the graphic/illustrator side..adds life ..as a normal straight shot it could be bypassed..like it a lot...t o p a z ?
Stunning image. Great perspective and angle. And what really make this picture work is processing. Washed down colour looks nice. The only thing I'm not sure about is amount of high pass filter applied to model's face. The rest of image looks just amazing with this tweaked settings.
