Many thanks for all C & Cs. Apologies for deleting earlier upload and many thanks to rockfish for pointing me in the right direction. Have now made some adjustments and hope that I’ve made a better job of it this time. RJ.
Now uploaded a new version with black background V2. I tried different pastels but just couldn’t make it work. I think the black is better.
Rob.
Have uploaded new version with blurred background as suggested by CaptainTweaky.Rob.

Nice to see the before image as well. Like V1 but feel all the lovely colours and details of the flower are swamped by the strength/ richness of the background.Just my personal taste, off course, i think I might have either gone for black or very pastel tones behind the flower.

I agree about the background, it’s obviously not as good as it could be. I used a new piece of software that I put on this morning and I rushed the job. That’s another lesson learned but that is the beauty of this site.

A lot of fabulous work considering V3. Love V2 with the black background.

Wonderful image of the flower but IMHO V1 & V2 look a little dismembered without the stem. I was thinking that perhaps V3 with the background blurred and darkened may have been quite effective. As there is orange in the flower the blurred grreen of the background may be complimentary - what do you think?

You could be right. I will give it a try.
