Those Still Waters Run So Deep

I look at you and often wonder,
Wheres the storm after the thunder?
Iíve had my storm, Iíve blown my head,
Even gone crying, angrily to bed.
But through it all youíve been quiet,
Sometimes I wonder if you hide it.
And that exhausts me, makes me weep,
And then Iím reminded, still waters run deep.

When Iím with you, the bad is gone,
I suddenly see a whole, new, bright morn.
Its like our awkward past is erased,
And a new beginning is beautifully traced.
But then you tell me, its going nowhere,
That life will take me away somewhere.
My tear drops flow like a growing creek,
And then Iím reminded, still waters run deep.

Iíve waited long, I want to belong,
But all youíve been is a friend all along.
So oft to territories new Iíll head,
Wait for those precious words to be said.
And when they are said, Iíll cherrish them true,
Iíll wholly belong, Iíll never be blue.
Still waters, will still run deep,
But I will have taken a long, wild leap.

I know that Valentine's Day has been and gone, but we should share love and romance everyday.

This image was captured just the other day whilst walking along the banks of the Thames Estuary. I was somewhat dumbfounded by the calmness and serenity of this often choppy and bust waterway.

Thank you for all your wonderful messages and comments following yesterdays upload of Kizmet, He is indeed everything you describe him as and even more.

I hope that you all have a great day ahead, for me it is a quiet one after a seizure last night.

Regards and keep love and romance in your hearts.

Nathan Grin

Well done my friend.
