You did well to catch this lively little creature Fred, those mustelids are a nightmare to photograph as they never stay still. I have two ferrets at home and they are never easy to photograph, hence why you never see any pictures of them in my portfolio!

excellent, you have captured this fast little mammal so well.
To be honest , I have seen them once in a while coming home form work in 'our' forest lane, disappearing faster than lightning. once I spotted two of them playing but even thought I stopped fast I wasn't fast enough.
