A couple on a quick lunch break; a stolen moment both caught by the camera, and stolen from them by texting.

My observations are as follows:

The bokeh ensures that the focus is on the subjects; the composition includes just enough of the subjects to create interest and tell the story and of course the clarity is faultless................ and how true that people obsessed with their own popularity via the mobile phone lose so much of what is available to them in terms of moments that can not be regained.

The oof bg disappearing into the far distance emphasises our closeness to the subjects, willie (or should that be RichardWink)

Being partially hidden gives the impression of us eaves-dropping on them.

I have a cousin called Richard. You may have heard of Richard Baneham, did the animation for Lord of the Rings, Avatar and others, - won an Oscar. Thats my second cousin. So I dont mind being Richard.
