While walking along the beach at Powell's Point Park I saw this up ahead and thought, oh dear! what has hapened to that poor animal, but when I got nearer I saw it wasn't a dead animal, but a stone that looked remarkably like one. Had a wild thought, maybe it was one that had committed some heinous crime and as punishment was turned to stone Wink
Well not really, but I thought it made a nice wee story for silly Sunday GrinGrin

Many thanks for your remarks on My Head..., very much appreciated.

Good story line right enough, Jim: I can imagine that from a distance it could easily be mistaken for a dead animal.
But a nice study of the colours and textures in both it and the surrounding sand.
And displaying it on the diagonal like this adds to the overall effect.
Ronnie.
