Whilst the exact purpose of Stonehenge is not known, the most accepted guesstimate is that it is connected to the Suns movement across the sky, so it was so appropriate to have caught it at Sunset.

Lovely capture! Although if you don't mind me saying, my eyes keep going to the stones but not in a good way, they are an odd colour, they aren't yellow, so I can only suppose that you have lightened the foreground to get your lovely sunset, which is beautiful, but might have been more effective if they were a tad darker silhouetting rather. It's a tricky combination unless you have PS where you can layer.
Beautiful nonetheless, and brought back memories (how I wished it had been and rather than being drenched for 9 hours) of the summer Solstice) ![]()
