Left you a couple of modifications which I hope you like. The original image seems a bit flat and dull, which is easily cured using levels (auto worked for this image). Its also crying out for the black and white treatment which always needs some extra contrast adding. The subject matter and crop are fine. Cheers, Rich.
A simple yet very pleasing composition with the tree placed perfectly in the frame. It is a little under exposed and there is a colour cast that may have been introduced by Topaz. I love this filter but it can have adverse affects sometimes. I have offered a mod in which I used levels to correct the exposure and remove the colour cast.

I like the comp, although I would suggest losing some of the bottom part - its quite homogeneous and doesn't add much. The bird has me in a bit of a quandary - if it was a bit bigger I think it'd provide great balance to the comp, but the size it is I find it more of a distaction - not big enough to be an impoertant feature, but too big to be ignored.
As for the topaz effect, it's an effect you've chosen to use - to me it looks a bit greenish and noisy, and while Im really not a mono. fan, I agree this could well suit a mono treatment
Just my thoughts, hope they're some use

Potentially good, but it seems the filter has done no good at all. The image is rather flat with a green cast. Not very natural at all. Not keen on these filter effects - if they work, they can be great, but I think they are often used for the sake of using them.

I like the composition — the tree and bush give a nice diagonal. I agree that the bird is too small to be more than a distraction; the low contrast and green cast have already been covered.
I don't get any real sense of an approaching storm from the photo, which leaves me feeling a bit disappointed. The sky doesn't have the menacing feel I'd expect; and there's not enough of it to show more than a bit of grey cloud. The mods have more contrast but still don't feel stormy to me. Maybe zooming out and showing more of the clouds would have helped to convey the weather?

its pretty much been said and I cant really add more - a person in red might have helped, I feel its lacking something, that said I like trees and this one has a nice shape to it.
Think i will have to find little red riding hood for this one thanks everyone
Hi Banehawi i purchased Topaz because of some good comments about it on E2,so now i am not sure what to think. I do like the mod you have loaded up.
